Anyone use them? And are they worth the money? They look good but a bit dear, so would like to know if they are good before shelling out. Thanks

Joe (Hillhead) uses these. Seems to be very content with them. They looked odd to me but I suppose I shouldn't knock it until you've tried it.

the Redbacks would be great if they werent so flippin heavy and bulky, they weigh my trousers down and my knees kept slipping off them when I kneeled down. Ive yet to try pads that you wear over trousers. Those rubi ones look interesting and not a bad price. At the mo Im using a kneeing pad which is ok.

As Aidy said I do use them.
I find them the best I've used.
Two pairs now so happy enough.
They are bulky and ugly but are so comfy that's what helps them.
Ill be on them tomorrow again after a week off :(

Been too hot this week for my Floorlayers so I put on the shorts and tried the knee pads Dave gave me from Beccles Tile Centre.

Comfy enough to wear with good straps but the way they're cut square on the front means they're like wearing platform shoes (not that I ever have!)
but you can't slide around without risk of twisting over on your knees - not good!

I've used a cheapy kneeling pad all week and it's been great.

Ok thanks for the answers. The fact that they are square is what appeals, so they can't roll around the knees. Have trousers with knee pads and they drive me mad.
