Doing a bit of a clear out at my dads over the holidays and found this. No idea what it's based with as lot of label has worn or faded. Smells fragrant, zesty but theres Definately an acidic pong too. I'll throw it under my swing machine some day im cleaning to see how it performs. I'm guessing probably poorly as it's likely to be 20+ years old. Like me, dad was a bit of a hoarder lol.

Albert, Was it a general cleaner or more of a cement film/residue remover ?

I know it says removes limescale ,degreases etc on front but there's a strong acidic whiff off it too.

I used it a day or two after grouting for a final clean. So in answer to your question it was a bit of both.

I think it was phosphoric acid based which will give it a zesty smell, plus offer the attributes mentioned.

Heavy duty cleaning then :) I'm encountering all sorts of stuff in my reading & research of cleaning and sealing products. Needa brush up on me science methinks ;). Funny how knowledge isn't that sharp when not in use

Here, I have spirit of salts too in 500ml bottles. Strong stuff indeed. I used it to clean a fire damaged shower enclosure a few years Back. The only think that would take the black from the White grout ! Coulda done with an oxygen mask too, fumes were unreal..... Melted a few toothbrushes as well lol

If you must use it wear gloves and dilute to a ratio of 30 water parts to 1 part chemical!
