Ink Stain

    Any idea how to get ink stain out of travertine, its not one of my jobs, i'am asking for a friend.

    All depends how long its been lying on it I'd say Albert, sealers if protected and enhanced only hold for a while to give you time to remove.
    Has any cleaners been used yet?
    Maybe a poultice could work too.

    I remove stains like this with mildew remover, ( anything sodium hypochlorite based) just dab it on the stain may take few min. Will need to test , and it may or may not ,but I have taken ink and red wine stains ,tea coffee out of limestones with this type of product.

    Straightforward bleach works great on ink, and I'd expect would be perfectly safe on travertine.

    Albert is it not annoying to realise that you have taken the trouble to try to help some one
    And they NEVER send you a feed back!
    I tried to let some one know that any stone whether natural or man made can be ground down and repolished
    But a diamond supplier who specialises in cheap Chinese goods started slagging me!

    Amir i will help anyone and yes it is annoying but i don't mind. If i can spend a few minutes answering someones
