Announcement New Image Upload Limits

    I've increased the image uploads limits for both post attachments and user photo albums, now 3000 x 3000 pixels, upto 5mb in size. Looking forward to seeing what you have to upload :)

    Don't think so you won't have too many at 3000 px most large are up to about 1000 px. and no more than 2-3 Mb.

    That's strange, I've done that yesterday. Does it not give you an option to take a photo or choose existing?

    Most of the photo's i have uploaded are from my iphone,i uploaded them from phone to macbook
    but each time i try to upload to album on forum it say's file to big to process :(

    Have you tried today? The size of file you can upload is huge now

    Yes. Dave it must be me :unsure: i am not very good with computers will ask an expert [eldest grandson;)]
    to try thank you for your patience. If he cant help i will try the apple shop.

    If you have iPhoto you can export the images. Select them, click on the file menu then export.

    once he shows me i should be fine :)

    I'll probably write some code to resize the images server side to increase speed of browsing. At the moment what is slowing things down is the forum software resizing on the fly, which is okay for a single user, but when you have 10's or 100's viewing the images the software begins to work pretty hard.
