    Hello Lee,

A little late now but thanks for letting me visit your showroom last week. We did chop up a few tiles on the cutters and I'm happy you found them good enough to place in your showroom. (which is spotless i have to say). Tile Town is definitely the place we would like to see our products.

    Cheers Lee.

I recently bought a Sigma, just before Christmas, and I think it's a fantastic bit of kit. When I now use my rubi's I think they are so flimsly in comparison.

I do regret not going bigger than the 600 though, as someone quite rightly pointed out that these are now an almost everyday tile, and angled cuts aren't achievable.

A bigger sigma is on my wanted list for this year, and that says it all, I too are a convert.

Go for the 3EM - it's a beauty! Just watch your back lifting the thing!

I can imagine, the weight of my 600 sigma took me by suprise

could do with a bit of advice of all the sigma crew.
i bought the little sigma 6 last week. nice little cutter, compact and the main thing it cuts very well. i seem to have adapted well to the pulling action lol

i am thinking of changing to sigma although i do love the rubi tx7oo BUT what would you sigma lads go for the 3c or the 3c max.?? (gonna give the 3b a miss) the pulling action doesnt bother me now, just would like to know if the 3cmax is actually a better design/cutter

i will then buy either the 3em or the 3fm and then thats it, my journey to the dark side will be complete !!! ;0)

you not that impressed with the max version jay? i had a couple of montolits that were the same as the max series, push cutters with a flip down breaker. they cut really well but i was born in 1969 so its destiny to change to sigmas ;0)

it seems like the 3c is a mans cutter ;0)
ps jay do you ever remember that aussie cop series for the late 70's 'Bluey' the guy who played him was called 'lucky grills' love it, only in australia ;0)

The max series is fine but haven't had the need for the extras as the base model will do all i ask of it if you have the extra coin then go for it
  12. Ed @ aston Guest

thanks Jay, extra coin should be saved in these economically challenged times mate. if it does the job, then thats good enough for me.

Don't forget Ed you can change the handles on them anyway. The MAX range is Sigma's latest range of manual cutters. New features with this handle.

I have had the 3C for a fe years now and recently tried one with a max handle. For the sake of £30, get the max.
