My 3BK gets used all the time when im not using it it goes to a friend of mine to be abused he keeps saying everytime he hands it me back he's going to buy one! Its never let us down unlike Rubi which has many a time. Hoping soon to have a day off Derek and i will send you your klick klock handle back i know ive been saying this since sept last year!

Also changing the handle have done it on both my sigmas and you have to hit that pin pretty hard:mad: so have the bar fully supported it prob wouldn't bend but better be on the safe side!

Also Derek if i send you your handle back will i be able to get another sigma tshirt?;)

Keep the handle. PM me your address again. I delete all emails with addresses on them and they are not passed on to Italy or anything.

just spent an hour using the max handle and i found that the pull handle with its smaller wheel gave a cleaner cut.
the max was a bit jagged incomparison.. i scored lightly, harder etc but i honestly found the 3c pull handle/wheel to give a better finish.

whats the verdict from people who have used pull and push sigmas??
  8. Paul C Professional Tile Fixer

Hhmmm interesting, only ever owned the Maxi handle but have had a brief play on the pullers..... didn't noticed much difference, I would agree that ''pulling'' on very delicate glazes helps the quality of cut...

You do know you can use the Maxi handle pulling as well as pushing don't you Ed, it swings both ways so to speak ;)
  9. Joe @ Hillhead Tiling Professional Tile Fixer

No jagging on my 3B or 3D, I'v never tried the max handle so don't really know Ed.
  10. Ed @ aston Guest

i think it might be the wheels? the pull wheels are smaller..could be wrong but theres a definate difference..more testing tomorrow, this is wore than top gear ;0)

i am begining to think these sigmas are like an affair, there ok for a couple of weeks and then you go back to what you know ;0)
    so ive been told (disclaimer!!)
  14. Paul C Professional Tile Fixer

Give me first dibs on whatever Sigma stuff you want to sell Ed... ;)
  15. jay Professional Tile Fixer

Who ever told you that is full of no2s
  16. Ed @ aston Guest

i guarantee paul if i put that sigma 3c up for sale on here for £220-00p , there would be no takers. 5 days old too. anyway, it would be have to be somebody around the north west because the courier would be about £35 so it wouldnt make it worth it unless it could be collected mate.
  17. Ed @ aston Guest

it was just a joke ;0)
  18. Paul C Professional Tile Fixer

Hhhmm, strange choice/ way of wording something that you guarantee nobody will buy this or that but if that's how you feel....

I'm sure @ £220 for a 3CM it'd go pretty quickly to someone in your neck of the woods.... :)
  19. Ed @ aston Guest

it was worded badly, it wasnt meant to sound like sigmas are poor and wont sell. far from it.

Ive had sigmas in for a while now, but when doing cuts for customers I still tended to reach for the rubi. Recently however there's been a few occasions where I've gone straight for the sigma as I knew it would do them and the rubi wouldn't. It's just getting used to something new. I haven't touched my rubi in weeks now.
